A Dedicated Afternoon for Students and Young Generation – Tuesday 21 April 2026
On Tuesday 21 April, RRFM 2026 will feature a dedicated afternoon designed to bring together students, Young Generation (YG) members of the NNS, and the wider RRFM community.
The afternoon will start with the RRFM Student Competition, showcasing the work of students and early-career researchers and offering a unique opportunity to discover emerging talent and innovative research in the field of research reactors and fuel management.
This will be followed by a Poster Session, providing an informal setting for discussion, networking, and direct exchanges between students, young professionals, and experienced experts from across the international community.
The afternoon will conclude with a session regrouping presentations on updates related to the PALLAS reactor, offering insight into one of Europe’s key new research reactor projects and its perspectives for the future.
This joint format is intended to encourage interaction across generations, facilitate mentoring and networking, and strengthen links between students, Young Generation members, and established professionals active in the RRFM and IRIS communities. Students and YG members of the NNS are warmly invited to take part in this dedicated moment of exchange and learning.
